Beaches and Sand

Outdoor life is also a very high priority in your visit to Valencia. Las Arenas and the Malvarrosa beaches can be enjoyed thanks to Valencia´s the year-round mild weather with an average 18º C. The Promenade beachwalk, which has just been renovated, makes for a relaxing stroll along these two unspoiled beaches.

La Albufera, a coastal lagoon, shows us a close-up view of this areas typical wildlife, its surrounding rice fields and "barracas", or thatched huts, all while we are rowed around in a typical boat. And not to be forgotten is the extensive Turia River, or what used to be a fluvial, now turned into a seemingly endless park.
